These terms apply to purchases made through awstra.com.

Who we are

AWSTRA is a Latvian student learning enterprise (Skolēnu Mācību Uzņēmums) that designs and sells educational electronics hardware and software. Contact: awstra.diy@gmail.com.

Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm the order by email. We may decline or cancel an order and refund it in full, for example if an item is mispriced or unavailable.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in euro and include VAT where applicable. Shipping is added at checkout. Payment is processed by Shopify’s payment providers; we do not store your card details.

Products

Product photographs and renders are representative. Our boards ship with SMD components pre-soldered and through-hole components supplied for you to assemble as part of the learning experience. Specifications may change as designs are revised; the product page is the current reference.

Intended use

AWSTRA hardware is sold for education, prototyping and hobby use. It is not certified for safety-critical, medical, industrial-control, or life-support applications, and must not be used in them. You are responsible for the safety of anything you build.

Software

CreateLab and any firmware or example code we supply are provided as-is, without warranty, and are licensed to you for use with AWSTRA hardware.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under EU and Latvian law, including the right of withdrawal and the legal guarantee of conformity. See our refund policy.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the goods concerned. We do not exclude liability for death, personal injury, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Latvia. Disputes may also be submitted to the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
